Mission Statement: F.A.S.A. strives to preserve a common cultural identity of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans, to give the general public an opportunity to know more about the Filipino culture and to promote cultural diversity on campus.
Meetings, Activities & Goals: Filipino Culture Nights, Stick-fighting "Arnis" workshops, "Tagalog" language workshops, Karaoke nights, Barrio Fiesta, Tinikling Workshops, halo-halo, community service, and fundraising among other activities. We are also going to begin participating in traditional Filipino holidays, co-sponsoring larger events with various other student groups, becoming part of district IV in F.I.N.D., and perhaps taking a little road trip!
