| Mission Statement: | NOC’s mission is to foster nonviolence amongst ourselves and in our community. Nonviolence is a commitment to not harming others physically or emotionally. One facet of this philosophy is its active implementation. NOC seeks to achieve this through education, critical examination and practical application of nonviolence. These actions will contribute to the quality of life on campus by: providing alternative means of conflict resolution, illustrating the effectiveness of a nonviolent lifestyle, and promoting open-mindedness and acceptance. | |
