How Apply for Need-based Financial Aid

• Complete the College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile on-line at www.collegeboard.org. The UR filing code is 2928, and our priority deadline is February 1st. Early Decision candidates should complete the Profile as soon as possible. Because the Profile may include several steps, begin the process at least two weeks before the deadline.
• Complete the CSS Non-Custodial Parents’ Statement and/or the CSS Business/Farm Supplement, as instructed during the CSS Profile submission process. The priority filing date is February 1st.
• Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov. The UR filing code is 002894, and our priority filing deadline is February 1st.

For both the CSS Profile and the FAFSA, consult your guidance counselor for paper or alternate forms of filing if you do not have access to the internet. In all cases, do not wait for actual 2004 income figures to file the forms. Use the best possible estimates to ensure you do not miss the priority deadlines, as we are unable to guarantee that full demonstrated need will be met for those students filing late.
