Gavett Hall
Gavett Hall
Erected in 1930 and dedicated with other original River Campus buildings, it was named in 1951 for Joseph W. Gavett Jr., chairman of engineering from 1921 to 1942. The building houses units of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, including chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, optics, and biomedical engineering.
