Hutchison Hall

Built in 1972, Hutchison Hall was named after Charles Force Hutchison, a retired controller of film and plate emulsion for the Eastman Kodak Company. Hutchison served as a University trustee from 1932 to 1959, and as a member of the board of managers of the Eastman School of Music.

The building remains the main science building for River Campus and currently houses the chemistry, biology, and Earth and environmental sciences departments. The facility also houses two of the larger lecture halls on the River Campus: Hubbell Auditorium seats 480, and Lander Auditorium seats 148.
