Movement and Dance College Music Department

Spurrier Hall

Constructed in 1955 and named in 1974, Spurrier Hall is named for Merle Spurrier, the director of physical education for women at the University from 1922 to 1958. The facility first housed women's athletics programs, complete with its own pool. Today the facility is home to the University dance program and practice rooms for the music department.
