The International Conference on Architectural Support for Programming Languages and Operating Systems is the leading interdisciplinary forum in computer systems design. Members of the program committee meeting in Rochester will be on hand to share their thoughts on the challenges and opportunities of next-generation systems, including internet and cloud computing; security and privacy; mobile and hand-held systems; novel processor architectures; power and energy conservation; and computing in the public interest.
A poster session from noon to 1 p.m. will showcase current research by graduate students in Rochester's Computer Science department.
