EVENT: University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra concert

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester's River Campus

ADMISSION: Free and open to the public

Note: Free parking is available on University lots after 7 p.m. weeknights.

The University of Rochester Chamber Orchestra continues its 2002 fall concert season with a performance at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester's River Campus.

The 40-member ensemble, under the direction of David Harman, professor of music and director of orchestral activities, will perform Josef Haydn's "Symphony No. 104," Felix Mendelssohn's "Hebrides Overture," and Antonin Dvorak's "Czech Suite."

The Chamber Orchestra, composed entirely of University of Rochester students, offers four concerts throughout the school year. The group performs music from Baroque to contemporary, showcasing the versatility of its members.
