EVENT: Holiday readings about traditions with friends, sponsored by the Friends of the University of Rochester Libraries

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the Welles-Brown Room of Rush Rhees Library on the University's River Campus; reception at 5:30 p.m.; program begins at 6 p.m.

ADMISSION: Free and open to the public

Seasonal readings that evoke traditions with friends will be the theme of this year's holiday reading sponsored by the Friends of the University of Rochester Libraries beginning at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the Welles-Brown Room of Rush Rhees Library on the University's River Campus.

Favorite selections will be read by Robert G. Koch, an author, former dean at the University, and producer of literary segments for WXXI-FM; Russell A. Peck, professor of English; and others.

A reception begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by an hour of readings and musical pieces played by Dennis Monroe on classical guitar and Renaissance lute.
