EVENT: Hunger Banquet, sponsored by the University of Rochester Fair Trade Campaign

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, in The Meliora on the University of Rochester's River Campus

ADMISSION: Tickets are $5, and can be purchased with declining, cash, or flex at the Common Market in Wilson Commons or at the door.

The University of Rochester Fair Trade Campaign, a joint effort of Students for Social Justice and Grassroots, is holding a Hunger Banquet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, in The Meliora on the University of Rochester's River Campus. The event is co-sponsored by Amnesty International, Sigma Beta Rho Fraternity, the Office of Admissions, and International Living Center.

Through Hunger Banquets, participants learn about the nature of hunger, poverty, and pervasive inequality, from community, national, and global perspectives, in current society.
