EVENT: Hopeman Memorial Carillon Summer Recital Series, featuring Dutch carillonneur Anne Kroeze

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 7 p.m. Monday, July 10, on the Eastman Quadrangle in front of Rush Rhees Library on the University of Rochester's River Campus

ADMISSION: Free.
Note: Parking is available on University lots.

Kroeze studied organ, carillon, and piano and church music in the Netherlands, where he is the official carillonneur in two cities. He also is a choir director and accompanies several choirs on organ and piano. His program will include arrangements of classical works by Bach, Haydn, Mozart, and Tchaikovsky.

Concertgoers should bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and even a book to read and can sit anywhere on the Eastman Quadrangle in front of the library to enjoy the music. For more information, contact (585) 275-2828.
