Several ensembles in the Department of Music in the University of Rochester's College of Arts, Sciences, and Engineering have scheduled auditions later in August and in September. In some cases, no formal auditions are required. Experienced musicians in the Greater Rochester area and University of Rochester students are welcome.

The ensemble performs standard and contemporary wind music as well as transcriptions from other genres. Rehearsals are Mondays from 7:30 to 10 p.m. The conductor is William Tiberio, who teaches at Fairport High School and at the Eastman Community Music School.
