TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, in the Hawkins-Carlson Room on the first floor of Rush Rhees Library on the University of Rochester's River Campus
ADMISSION: Free and open to the public. A $4 parking fee will be charged on Friday for cars without River Campus permits. Parking passes will be available at the visitors' information booth on Wilson Boulevard near Elmwood Avenue. Parking is free on Saturday.
The Friends of the University of Rochester Libraries sponsors the annual sale to benefit the collections of the libraries. All types of books are available from histories and romance novels to children's books, classic literature, and travel books. A special $3 bag sale will run from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
