In honor of Professor Richard G. Niemi's 40th anniversary at the university, past colleagues and students—all of whom have been his co-authors—will convene on campus to discuss "The One Thing You Need To Know About . . ." voting in American presidential elections, political parties, Congress, interest groups, American foreign policy, and American politics by the numbers.
Niemi, Don Alonzo Watson Professor of Political Science at the University of Rochester, is a renowned researcher in the areas of voting behavior, legislative term limits, and civic education. He was named a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in May.
