Registration Open for 2009 Soy Unica Soy Latina Rally
Registration is open for the 2009 ¡Soy Única! ¡Soy Latina! Rally; slated for March 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the University\'s River Campus. The program, sponsored by the University of Rochester and Latinas Unidas, aims to boost self-esteem, encourage education and career exploration, and promote healthy life choices among young Latinas.
Soy Única, Soy Latina is open to Latinas ages 7-18 (children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult) and transportation will be provided from City Hall to the University of Rochester. Buses depart every half hour, beginning at 7:45 a.m.
