Joel Seligman and Kelly Reed Launch Mt. Hope Family Center's 30th Anniversary Symposium
WHAT: Introductory remarks by Joel Seligman, University of Rochester president, and Kelly Reed, Monroe County Department of Human Services commissioner, recognizing Mt. Hope Family Center\'s three decades of research and outreach to families struggling with violence and abuse.

BACKGROUND: On November 12 and 13, Mt. Hope Family Center is hosting a 30th anniversary symposium and community roundtable focused on translating the latest scientific discoveries about childhood abuse into effective and proven interventions. Frontiers in Translational Research on Trauma brings to Rochester six of the nation\'s foremost authorities in developmental psychology and psychopathology. More details here.
