EVENT: EVENT REMINDER: Comedian Howie Mandel Brings Stand-Up Routine to Rochester

WHAT: Tickets are on sale for stand-up comedian and popular game show host Howie Mandel\'s performance at the University of Rochester.

TIME, DATE, PLACE: 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, at Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester\'s River Campus.

BACKGROUND: Howie Mandel has been a Hollywood mainstay for more than three decades, acting in television and films, as well as on stage. He starred in \"St. Elsewhere\" and created the popular children\'s cartoon \"Bobby\'s World,\" has his own syndicated talk show, and gained recent notoriety as the host of \"Deal or No Deal.\"

Tickets are $8 for University of Rochester undergraduates (with I.D.), $15 for graduate students and University employees, and $25 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased online at www.urochestertickets.com or at the Common Market in Wilson Commons. The event is sponsored by the Campus Activities Board. Anyone requiring special accommodations should contact the University Intercessor at (585) 275-9125 at least five business days in advance of the event.
