9th Annual Tahou's Run Benefits Mt. Hope Family Center

Sigma Phi Epsilon Fundraiser is 2-Parts Relay Race, 1-Part Dinner Dash

WHAT: Members of the University of Rochester chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon host their annual Nick Tahou\'s Run.

TIME, DATE, PLACE: 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7. The race begins at the intersection of Library Road and Wilson Boulevard, stops at Nick Tahou\'s (320 W. Main St.), and complete the 4.4 mile run back to the River Campus.

ABOUT THE NICK TAHOU\'S RUN: The run and relay race involve one member of each team running two miles from the University\'s River Campus to Nick Tahou\'s eatery; another member eats a \"Garbage Plate,\" Tahou\'s specialty meal; and a third returns to campus. Teams can be up to three people doing one or more parts of the relay: 3-Person Team: two runners and one eater; 2-Person Team: one runner and one eater; or, a 1-Person \"Iron Man\" Team, described by organizers as \"one brave soul who does is all.\" Awards are given to the winners of each category, including the best female team.

Proceeds from this year\'s run benefit Mt. Hope Family Center, an affiliate of the University of Rochester. The Mt. Hope Family Center helps at-risk children and families affected by abuse, neglect, violence, and other traumas.
