Statement from President Joel Seligman on START-UP NY Legislation
"I want to thank Assembly Majority Leader Joe Morelle, Senator Joe Robach, and Senator Mike Ranzenhofer for their leadership in working with Governor Andrew Cuomo on his START-UP NY plan.
This important initiative will enhance efforts to attract new companies, accelerate the transfer of promising research discoveries to the marketplace, and create new jobs. As a technological hub, Rochester is well positioned to leverage the benefits of START-UP NY.
We look forward to partnering with the Governor and the Legislature to implement this new program which will be a powerful tool for economic growth across the State of New York."
