The University of Rochester Jazz Ensemble will present its fall concert at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, in Strong Auditorium on the River Campus.
The program, which will feature music for both large and small jazz ensembles, includes "Low Down" by Thad Jones, a salute to Count Basie with Bob Mitzner's composition "Tribute," and Duke Ellington's "Harlem Airshaft."

The jazz ensemble is co-directed by Michael Stryker, who is pursuing his doctorate in jazz and contemporary media at the Eastman School of Music, and Neal Melley, a student in the master's program in jazz and contemporary media at Eastman.
