Biography
Richard Niemi is an expert on ballot design, voting machines, voting behavior, and term limits. Recent books include Voting Technologies: The Not-So-Simple Act of Casting a Ballot; Vital Statistics on American Politics, 2007-2008; and Comparing Democracies 2. Niemi teaches courses in the field of American politics and on writing.
