Biography
Dalecki focuses on the interaction of ultrasound with biological tissues. She studies mechanisms for bioeffects of ultrasound to assess the safety of ultrasound used for diagnostic medical imaging, therapy and lithotripsy. In addition, she works to understand the physical mechanisms of interaction of sound with tissue in the development of new, noninvasive therapeutic applications of ultrasound.
