Paul Burgett has key responsibilities for the business of the Board of Trustees, advising the president and representing his office among internal constituencies as well as alumni, civic, and local community constituencies. He is a principal interface between the president and students of schools across the University. Prior to his current appointment, he served a combined 21 years, first as Dean of Students at the Eastman School of Music and then as Vice President and University Dean of Students. As adjunct professor of music, he teaches every year, is an undergraduate faculty advisor, and continues to advise several student organizations.
