Biography
As the College Dean of Students, Matthew Burns is responsible for all aspects of undergraduate student life. As associate dean for six years, he oversaw such issues as student counseling, discipline and crisis situations. Before coming to Rochester in 2001, he worked at the University of Hartford in residential life and was director for five years.
