Professor Holmes is an expert on issues that involve peace and nonviolence. He has written numerous articles and several books on those topics, and has been invited to address national and international conferences. His publications include Basic Moral Philosophy (Wadsworth Publishing) and Nonviolence in Theory and Practic (Waveland Press).
