Biography
Ryan Prendergast received his Ph.D. from Emory University in 2003. His research and teaching interests include the literary and cultural production of both 16th- and 17th-century Spain. His recent articles have appeared in Bulletin of the Comediantes and Modern Language Studies. He is the author of Reading, Writing, and Errant Subjects in Inquisitorial Spain (Ashgate 2011). His current research focuses on the entremes and other short theater in early modern Spain.
