Entrepreneurial Educators to Speak on Transforming Schools, Adding Value to Our Community During Entrepreneurship Week

As the Rochester community and the University of Rochester celebrate EntrepreneurshipWeek USA, the Warner School of Education will honor the unique entrepreneurial vision and practices of two remarkable entrepreneurial educators. Ralph Spezio, retired principal of the Rochester City School District, and Patricia Chiverton, dean of University of Rochester's School of Nursing, will discuss how they have moved their ideas from concept to reality.

Titled "The Entrepreneurial Educator: Adding Value to Our Community," the event will highlight these extraordinary entrepreneurs as they share how they have transformed their schools to benefit students and the community. Listen to both entrepreneurial educators share their stories and engage in a conversation with educators, business leaders, and community members to discover what we can learn from their innovations and experiences.

EntrepreneurshipWeek USA, February 24 to March 3, 2007, is a national effort to inspire and encourage young people to consider entrepreneurship as a career choice, while helping celebrate America's unique culture of inventiveness.
