A robot, a new kind of wheelchair, and wireless household controls. Those are just a few of the projects to be featured at the University of Rochester on April 28 during the Hajim School Design Day.

Student teams at the University's Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences have been partnering with local companies and institutions over the past year to solve real-world engineering problems. This Thursday the students will showcase their results from 1-5 p.m. in the Munnerlyn Atrium of Robert B. Goergen Hall. Their projects include:

In the past, Design Day was only for students in the Department of Biomedical Engineering. This marks the first year the program is open to all students in the Hajim School of Engineering.
