WHAT: The Brass Choir at the University of Rochester will present its fifth annual Halloween-themed concert, "Spooktacular V: Dead Man's Party." The show will feature pop and dance favorites such as Daft Punk's "Get Lucky," "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats, and "Walk the Dinosaur" by Was (Not Was) in a lighthearted concert designed for all ages. Humorous video vignettes and special effects will augment the concert.

TIME, DATE, PLACE: 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester's River Campus. The concert is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required.

ABOUT THE BRASS CHOIR: Celebrating its fifth year, the UR Brass Choir, under founder and director Josef Hanson, is made up of undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni. The ensemble has performed in a variety of venues, including Hendricks Chapel at Syracuse University and the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The ensemble is dedicated to crafting music performances that are a bit out of the ordinary—from Renaissance music and fanfares to heavy metal.

PARKING: Visitors to the River Campus can park for free in most parking lots after 7 p.m.
