WHO: Expo opens doors to travel for University of Rochester students.
TIME, DATE, PLACE: 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, Hirst Lounge, Wilson Commons
WHAT: The Study Abroad Expo highlights summer, semester, and academic year study abroad opportunities sponsored by the University of Rochester. Study abroad at the University is becoming increasingly more popular; the 2008-2009 academic year saw 60 more students travel abroad than during the 2007-2008. Returned students, faculty, and program representatives are on hand to discuss their experiences abroad, while a travel agency will provide advice on traveling overseas.
With the Expo's annual Passport Drive, a City of Rochester representative will provide and process applications on site, answer questions for first-time applicants, and assist those who wish to renew their passport. A photographer will also be on hand to take the required photos.
PARKING: Visitors may park at the Library Lot, located on Library Road behind Rush Rhees Library.
