Please note that the NIH Closeout summary also provides instructions regarding faculty's ability to delegate Status access to their grants in eRA Commons. This allows the designated administrative staff the ability to upload the closeout reports on faculty's behalf. It also allows the designated staff the ability to view, and access when needed, the submitted grant applications (the complete pdf e-applications), the NIH Notice of Awards, and the yearly progress reports. We believe this would be of tremendous use for departmental administrative offices as these documents can be printed in their final format and/or saved to internal shared folders as needed or just accessed whenever needed. Please let your faculty know that by delegating this Status access, their scores/percentiles and summary statements will remain confidential and accessible by them only.
