Looking forward to college? Why wait? With Rochester On Campus (ROC) program you can become a college student over the summer while you’re still in high school! You’ll experience campus living including: dorm life, enjoying meals in the dining halls with friends, and extra-curricular activities both on and off campus.

As a ROC student you’ll explore the best of the University of Rochester: state-of-the-art research facilities, top-notch faculty and resources, and a gorgeous campus. You’ll have the opportunity to explore the best of the city of Rochester, and most importantly, you’ll experience a UR education first hand!

This pre-college program is an amazing opportunity for you to experience first hand what college life is all about. It can help you decide what major is right for you and what type of campus is in your future.

Rochester on Campus Student Selection Process

Early Application Deadline: May 9, 2008

Final Application Deadline: June 13, 2008

  • In order for your application to be considered please provide:
  • A recommendation from your teacher, guidance counselor, or community leader.
  • A personal statement answering one of the three questions listed in the application.
  • Your most recent high school transcript.
  • Your credit and/or non-credit course selection.

Rochester on Campus Tuition and Fees

Program costs include tuition as well as room and board. Additional fees may apply for special events, field trips, and weekend excursions.
