A Message from President Seligman
As the spring semester gets under way, President Joel Seligman updates the University community on ongoing projects and initiatives, including:

    · News of the selection of Fairmount Properties as a development partner in the Mt. Hope College Town project.
    · A look at the continued success in generating research funding, with a total of $197.3 million secured in the first six months of the 2011 fiscal year.
    · A look ahead to the upcoming dedication of the Clinical and Translational Science Building.

Seligman also notes some of the economic challenges the University faces and expresses gratitude for the support of alumni and friends of the University.
