PAYROLL DEDUCTION AVAILABLE FOR RTS BUS PASSES: Faculty and staff can take advantage of the ability to pay for yearly bus passes for RTS with pre-tax money through payroll deduction. By signing up for this service, employees will use tax-free money to pay for the bus passes on a monthly basis. This not only spreads the cost out over 12 months, but results in reduced taxable income, which in turn saves on taxes and increases take-home pay. Public Transit: RTS Bus lines frequent the University daily.
RGRTA/RTS Bus passes can still be purchased at the RC and MC Parking Offices, Monday through Friday, 7:45am-4:30pm.

Bicycling at UR: Get your exercise to and from work! There are racks to support over 500
bicycles on RC and MC and bike racks on student shuttle buses and RTS buses.
The University also supplies covered bicycle parking in the ramp garage. City Cycles is a
FREE bicycling lending library for UR undergrads and members of Goergen Athletic Center

Carpooling: Cut gas, parking and auto expenses and share a ride with one, two, three, or even four people! 2 Carpoolers receive 50% discounted parking, three 75% and four receive FREE parking. If you don't already know someone you can ride with:

University Student Shuttles:
Buses are free to UR and RIT ID card holders for the below bus lines.
You must present your ID card when boarding.
Provides wheels when you want them. A great way to zip around the
community. Gas, insurance, roadside assistance and reserved parking are included.
