EVENT: Western New York Intercollegiate Choir Festival

TIME, DATE, AND PLACE: 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester's River Campus

ADMISSION: Free
Note: Parking is available on University lots on weekends.

The Western New York Intercollegiate Choral Festival, an invitational performance by college choirs, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, in Strong Auditorium on the University of Rochester's River Campus.

Five choirs from four colleges in western New York will sing: the Chamber Singers from Nazareth College, the College Choir and the Chamber Singers of SUNY Fredonia; and Rochester Institute of Technology's RIT Singers. The University of Rochester's Chamber Singers will host and participate in the concert.

The festival, presented annually for almost two decades, is an opportunity for college choirs to perform for and learn from one another. It is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Department of Music at (585) 275-2828.
