Technology has the power to incite the active engagement and increased interaction that the most recent research on how people learn says is central to effective teaching. This workshop looks at a host of tools, including specialized learning software for drilling course concepts, in-class tools for facilitating discussion, asynchronous tools for interacting between class meetings and synchronous technologies for enabling learning in disparate location to work collaboratively.
