In preparation for a discussion on "assessment":
- (a) read the article on this topic included
in the course reader:
- Clarke, Clarke & Lovitt (1990). "Changes
in mathematics teaching call for assessment alternatives"
- (b) think back at our Tessellation experience
as well as the "classroom story" you read as part of the previous
assignment, and begin to think of appropriate ways to evaluate students'
learning in these experiences (jot down notes for yourself, not to be handed
in).
