Monitoring and evaluating the implementation of an illustrative unit
(D6.7)
Examples of written reflections on the implementation of one of our illustrative
units
Despite the fact that participants were asked to prepare both a written report of the implementation of an illustrative unit and a written reflection only a few people produced a separate written reflection. However, the overall reflections we did receive confirmed our belief that the nature of the thinking and reflecting one does to write an overall reflection of an experience is quite different from that to produce a report of an experience. We therefore continue to recommend that both types of reflection be assigned. Here we have provided the overall written reflections submitted by the two participants whose unit report was also included in the materials for this component in order to show the contrast between reflections and the unit reports.
