Re: First Fall Meeting - October 15

Our first meeting is scheduled for October 15, 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. Since we are going to be such a large group, over 60 educators are participating in the project during this phase, we had to move to a new meeting site. We will be meeting in the (newly remodeled) Friendship Center of the Pearce Memorial Church. The church is located at 4322 Buffalo Road in North Chili (directions are at the bottom of this note). As usual we will have coffee etc. available at 8:00 am and encourage you to come early to chat.

Please come prepared to share (in 3-4 minutes) one thing from your experience that other teachers in this project could benefit from knowing (for example: about teaching math differently; or, planning and adjusting units; or, teaching a specific; or, how students learn) and one concern you have.

There will be an "Open Bulletin Board" for communicating questions, interests, ideas, etc. with the whole community.

I'm sure everyone is looking forward to getting together to meet the other members of the project and hear first unit stories ! See you then !
