CSS Validation

When the redesign of the University's homepage was launched in January 2004, one of the goals was to use Cascading Style Sheets, or CSS, to control as much of the presentation of the page as possible. By using CSS, we've enabled the design team to make color changes quickly and easily, refreshing the look of the site in minutes instead of days.

All the CSS used in the homepage and the navigation pages validates to the CSS2 specification from the World Wide Web Consortium. (Check for yourself.)

Pages in the University templates (like this one) also use a style sheet to control the color scheme and basic margin settings. To learn more about using style sheets on your pages, visit the University Web Manual.
