Affinity Housing
A very popular housing lifestyle option at Rochester that is available in freshman housing is affinity housing. Affinity housing areas are centered around lifestyle themes, which participants agree to follow to remain in the living area. Typical affinity themes include quiet-study, substance-free, coed by random room (both male and female rooms on the same corridor with separate bath facilities), and combinations of those themes. The options available for next year are indicated in the housing application packet.
