Timeline
Executive Board/Hall Rep Candidacy
In order to run candidates must:
Complete the Candidacy Declaration Form
- Completed nomination forms must be submitted to online (click here) by noon on Saturday, September 7th.
- This form will ask you for:
- Completed Executive Board Nomination Form (click here to download a copy)
- Confirmation of Information Session Attendance
- An Election Platform
Campaigning
Permitted between Mon. Sept. 9 until Sunday Sept. 15. All campaigning must adhere to guidelines.
Elections
Elections will be held online for two (2) days: Mon. Sept. 16th until Tues. Sept. 17th.
Freshman
You must attend one of the following information sessions.
Information Sessions:
Any person interested in running for a position on the hall council (President, Vice President of Outreach Programming, Vice President of Program Coordination, Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Marketing, and Vice President of Council Affairs) must attend an information session.
- Sunday, September 1st: 4pm "Get Involved! night" Wilson Commons May Room. (Suggested)
- Tuesday, September 3rd: 5pm Wilson Commons Haven Lounge
- Friday, September 6th: 2pm Wilson Commons Haven Lounge.
You must be available to attend an all-day retreat on Sunday, September 29, 2013 to run.
Only in cases where candidates are unable to attend one of these meetings, make-up sessions may be scheduled with your GHR at their convenience.
Hall Representative Elections:
Each candidate will have the opportunity to address the floor residents in a hall meeting held by their RA prior to voting. The RA will take a vote by ballot. Executive Board candidates who lost their election can automatically be entered onto the ballot for Hall Representative if they so desire.
Dates: Thursday, September 19- Monday, September 23, 2013
Upperclassman
Information Sessions
Any person interested in running for a position on the hall council (President, Vice President of Outreach Programming, Vice President of Program Coordination, Vice President of Finance, Vice President of Marketing, and Vice President of Council Affairs) must attend an information session.

Attend an information sessions scheduled for:
- Tuesday, September 3: 5:00-6:00 pm……Wilson Commons Haven Lounge*
- Friday, September 6: 2:00-3:00pm……Wilson Commons Haven Lounge*
* Mandatory senate election information session at same time
Internal Elections
The elected council will hold internal elections in order to determine council positions. These elections must be held by Saturday Sept. 27th 2013.
You must be available to attend an all-day retreat on Sunday, September 29, 2013 to run.
