The conference schedule is available for download in PDF format. Scholars and the public are welcome to attend the Conference even if they are not presenting papers. Paper presentations are open to the public. Registration fees cover the costs of meals, snacks, and receptions, as well as admission to various screenings and performances.

Travel: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
Travel to and from Rochester is very easy, no matter the form of transportation.
By Airplane
The Greater International Rochester Airport (ROC) is a full-service airport, offering international flights and direct service from most major American hubs and cities. A list by carrier of the non-stop flights to Rochester is available from the airport site, here. The major carriers serving ROC are: AirTran, AmericanEagle, Continental, Delta/Comair, JetBlue, Northwest, United Airlines, and US Airways. Shuttle service to the official Conference hotel, StayBridge Suites, is available, as are rental cars and taxi services; details are available from the airport web site, here. The University of Rochester and StayBridge Suites are approximately 10 minutes from the airport by car.
To the west of Rochester is Buffalo-Niagara International Airport (BUF). A list by carrier of the non-stop flights to Buffalo is available from the airport site, here. The major carriers serving BUF are: AirTran, AmericanEagle, Continental, Delta/Comair, JetBlue, Northwest, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and US Airways. Transit time between Buffalo and Rochester is approximately one hour.
To the east of Rochester is Syracuse Hancock International Airport (SYR). A list of carriers serving Syracuse is available from the airport site, here, and a list of destinations is available, here. Transit time between Syracuse and Rochester is approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
By Train
Rochester is accessible by Amtrak trains on three routes: Empire Service, Lake Shore Limited, and Maple Leaf. Amtrack service schedules are available from the company web site, here. The train station is located in downtown Rochester, approximately 15 minutes from the University of Rochester and StayBridge Suites by car. By Car
Rochester is easily accessible by car. From points west (Buffalo), follow I-90 E (NY State Thruway) to exit 47 (I-490 E towards Rochester). I-490 bisects Rochester; to reach the University of Rochester and StayBridge Suites, take I-490 E to exit 9B, I-390 S; exit I-390 from Exit 17 (Scottsville Road / NY 383 E) and turn left onto Scottsville Road. To reach the University, turn right at Elmwood, cross the bridge, and turn left onto campus at Wilson Blvd.; the University Parking kiosk is straight ahead. To reach StayBridge Suites, vear left from Scottsville Road onto Genesee Street and drive about 5 blocks; the hotel is located on the right, at 1000 Genesee Street (intersection of Brooks Ave. and Genesee St.).
From points east (Syracuse), follow I-90 W to exit 45 (I-490 W towards Rochester). I-490 bisects Rochester; to reach the University of Rochester and StayBridge Suites, take I-490 W to Exit 17 (Goodman Street) and turn left at Goodman Street. Take Goodman for 1.3 miles, and turn right at Elmwood. To reach the University, turn right on Wilson Blvd.; the University Parking kiosk is straight ahead. To reach StayBridge Suites, continue on Elmwood, cross the bridge, and turn right at Genesee Street. The hotel will be on the right, at 1000 Genesee Street (intersection of Brooks Ave. and Genesee St.).
From points south, take I-390 N to Exit 16 (W. Henrietta Road), and turn right onto W. Henrietta Road / NY 15; turn left at Elmwood Avenue. To reach the University of Rochester, turn right on Wilson Blvd.; the University Parking kiosk is straight ahead. To reach StayBridge Suites, continue on Elmwood, cross the bridge, and turn right at Genesee Street. The hotel will be on the right, at 1000 Genesee Street (intersection of Brooks Ave. and Genesee St.).
