Golf & Graduation: Preparing for the Future

Panelist Biographies:

Australian native Katherine Hull graduated from Pepperdine University in 2003 with a degree in Sports Administration. In 2007, she traveled with other LPGA Pros to war-torn Rwanda, where she sponsors three children through the World Vision Organization.

Pat Hurst is a San Jose State University alumna and the 1995 Rolex Rookie of the Year. She balances her successful golf career (she holds six career LPGA titles and is a five-time winner of the Solheim Cup) with a full home life as the mother of two children.

In 2008, Rookie Stacy Lewis graduated with a degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Arkansas, where she also won 12 collegiate golf tournaments, as well as the NCAA Individual Championship in 2007. Despite struggling with scoliosis and recent back surgery, Stacy continues as a champion on the course.

In 1995 Leta graduated from the University of Arizona where she was a four-time All American and three-time Academic All American. In 2008 she became a Rolex 1st Time Winner at the LPGA Corning Classic when she defeated Jeong Jang in a one-hole sudden-death playoff. She ranks 61st in career earnings, with a total of $2.8 million. Nevertheless, she says her best achievements are her two children with husband Matt Plagman.
