LPGA Conversations with Champions
This event was held annually from 2006 to 2013 in conjunction with the LPGA at Locust Hill Country Club in Pittsford, NY, and was presented each year by various sponsors, Wegmans LPGA, and the Susan B. Anthony Center.
Different players on the tour were selected each year to speak at the event. Topics included “Players and Their Caddies…See Why It’s Different Out Here” and “Pursuing Your Dreams.” Golf insider Gail Graham served as moderator for a panel discussion of women players. Audience members are also invited to offer questions.
The Nora Bredes Leadership Award was also given in memory of the Susan B. Anthony Center’s previous director, Nora Bredes. The award commemorates Bredes’ exemplary life and vision for women as leaders. The award honored a Rochester woman whose career, leadership, energy and wisdom promise to continue to continue to realize women’s full social, political and economic equality.
