Celebrate the Past . . . Imagine the Future!
October 12-15, 2000
Ed Hajim '58, Trustee and National Reunion Chairman, had this to say prior to the weekend:
This is the most important reunion in the 150-year history of the University of Rochester. It marks our recommitment to a strong, traditional reunion program. We need YOU to make it happen!
The Sesquicentennial marked the return to traditional reunions for alumni of the College (undergraduate arts, sciences, and engineering). Although all alumni were invited to the Sesquicentennial Weekend, those who graduated in the classes ending in 5 and 0 were also celebrating a reunion.
Reunion 2000 featured two combined reunions - the 50th (Classes of '50, '51, '52, '53, and '54) and the 25th ('73, '74, and '75) - as well as events for the Slater Society, Greek alumni, and former Varsity Yellowjackets.
