Rochester Freshmen Meet the City during Service Days
Margaret Mead once said to "never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has." With this in mind, more than 1,000 freshmen at the University of Rochester and Eastman School of Music ventured into the city and suburbs to volunteer at nearly 60 of Rochester's nonprofit organizations during the 2nd annual George Eastman Day of Service on Friday, Aug. 26, and the 23rd annual Wilson Day on Monday, Aug. 29.
