Looking for more local, sustainably grown fruits and vegetables? In addition to the many farmers markets in the area, a convenient new choice is now available for University community members.
The Good Food Collective has established a new workplace-based CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. Faculty, students, and staff can purchase a membership or "share," and then pick up their box of fresh, seasonally available vegetables—delivered adjacent to the Medical Center at Goler House—every Friday from July 16 through October.
Want to learn more about the Good Food Collective? Well-U is sponsoring an information session with GFC founder Chris Hartman.
"The Good Food Collective is an independent program designed and run by Headwater Foods, Inc and its partners. It is not affiliated with or formally endorsed by the Crittenden Boulevard Housing Development Corp. or the University of Rochester."
