Responsive Web Templates

This Is the Three Column Template

Words, sentences, paragraphs, and photos will go here.

I am no longer referring to words, sentences, paragraphs, and photos as content.

Content sounds like something that comes from IT or Web Services or some piece of complicated-sounding software. It does not.

Content = words, sentences, paragraphs, and photos. And sometimes videos. Someone has to write it. Someone has to shoot it. Someone has to edit it. Someone has to approve it.

Our Friend the Subhead

It's good to use subheads to break up the words and paragraphs on your page. It gives readers something to scan when they are trying to find out if they are in the right place. Subheads should be:

  • Short
  • Descriptive
  • Cuddly

Orangutans

Orangutan

Hands down my absolute favorite zoo animal. Try to look at an orangutan without smiling. Go ahead. I'll wait. You can't do it, can you?

Peacocks

Peacock

At the Philadelphia Zoo, peacocks just walk around freely. Sometimes they would cut in front of you in the line for snow cones.

Penguins

Penguin

There are two kinds of penguins: Swimmy Penguins and Waddley Penguins. They are both equally ridiculous.

  1. Swimmy Penguins swim really fast and look like little missiles.
  2. Waddley Penguins look like little maître d's.
