Two recycling efforts – Grassroots’ “Dump and Run,” and the University Recycling Office’s “Move-Out Cleanout program” – work to collect students’ unwanted items as they move out of their dorms. Alice Chen ’15 and Ling Rao ’14 show us some of the goodies they’ve collected, which will be sold during freshman orientation as a fundraiser. Recycling assistant Melissa Kullman ’14 explains the details behind all those yellow Planet Aid boxes that pop up on campus at the end of the year.
